Create Fabulous Frozen Desserts

We all need to chill out sometimes. What better way to do it than with some delectable sweet treats?

Put a Twist on the Ordinary
Ice cream, sorbets and popsicles are familiar territory. They're also very easy to change up. For example, flavor a sorbet with sweet rose syrup. Whip up your favorite cocktail recipe, pour into molds and freeze for an adult take on popsicles. Experiment with vanilla ice cream and your favorite fruits, nuts or candies as add-ins.

Freeze Something New
Try a frozen variation of your favorite dessert. Pies without top crusts (e.g., pumpkin pie or chocolate cream pie) tend to be excellent choices. Frozen s'mores are perfect for kids' parties and sleepovers.

Think Healthy
Fruits are a terrific way to get your sweet fix and still eat healthy. Search the Web to find countless fruit smoothie recipes. If you want a little indulgence, dip a banana in melted chocolate and freeze. For those who don't care for fruit, you can make popsicles out of lightly sweetened healthy drinks such as green tea.
